School of Arts and Sciences, Sydney

Students of the School are taught by academics who are very experienced in their field. Our small size allows students to receive special attention in a comfortable learning environment, where they are given the opportunity for personal development and excellent preparation for professional life.

The focus of the School is on developing students' capabilities to enter a world where a person's ability to learn quickly and solve problems is paramount. The Bachelor of Arts is also an excellent preparation for further studies to enter the professions of teaching and counselling.

Arts students can follow their personal and professional interests across a broad range of disciplines and, in the process, they enhance their personal development, future employment prospects and their potential to contribute to the cultural and intellectual life of the wider community.

The University's commitment to excellence is complemented by opportunities for formal and informal teacher-student interaction and a congenial scholarly environment.
