The University Library at the University of Notre Dame Australia consists of six individual libraries, three at the Fremantle campus (Craven Law Library, Galvin Medical Library and St Teresa’s Library), two at the Sydney Campus (Benedict XVI Medical Library and St Benedict’s Library) and one at Broome (Broome Library) and a central Library Systems Administration Unit (located at the Fremantle campus).
The individual libraries use a consolidated library catalogue and a common pool of electronic resources (databases, e-books, e-journals and e-reference titles). These common aspects of the Library service are managed by the Library Systems Administration Unit.
The individual libraries are managed by a locally based librarian. These librarians report to the Director Library Services, who is located at the Fremantle campus.
The Library organizational chart shows the structure of the Library, the names and roles of individual staff and the connections between the various elements of the Library.
The Library welcomes enquiries and feedback from existing staff and students, prospective students and other interested parties. The Library finds user feedback an invaluable source of information in planning the development of the collections and services.
