School of Law, Fremantle

The School was established in 1997 and offers courses of study leading to the award of the degree of Bachelor of Laws. This degree can be taken alone or in combination with another degree as part of a double degree program, and may be completed in three, four or five years depending upon the academic background of the student. The Bachelor of Laws degree satisfies the academic requirements for admission to legal practice. The School of Law also offers a range of law courses for those with first degrees in Law and other disciplines. These courses include higher degrees in law (ie doctoral and masters degrees by research) and the Graduate Certificate in Construction and Building Law. The academic programs of the School is supported by the Craven Law Library, which is integrated into the fabric of the School in accordance with the best North American practice.
