It is my pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the School of Education. Welcome to a community within a community where staff are both expert and highly accessible and small class sizes are fostered to promote individual attention. Along with the Schools of Education on our Broome Campus and our Sydney Campus we are part of a National College of Education at the University of Notre Dame Australia.

When you choose to study to become a teacher you are making a decision to enter a profession where you can truly say you are making a difference. You will contribute to the formation of our young people in a partnership with their parents and their communities. In a real sense you will be shaping the future and it will be a positive future for many, because it will be touched by your unique practical skills and knowledge, developed through an exciting, innovative degree. The teaching degree at the University of Notre Dame Australia is recognized for its unique 32 weeks of practicum experience in the classroom, helping you to be as work ready as possible. Practical experience complemented by sound theory means our graduates are highly sought after in Government, Catholic and Independent schools. Our graduate employment rate is simply outstanding.
