The graduate courses in nursing are aimed at enabling the registered nurse to develop knowledge and consolidate skills to function as specialists within their chosen discipline. They are also aimed at providing currently specialised nurses with opportunities to advance their own sphere of professional practice.
Admission Requirements:
To be eligible for entry into the Graduate Diploma in Perioperative Nursing, students have to hold an undergraduate nursing degree or equivalent and be a full-time employee of the Fremantle Health Service or an affiliate health service. Students must also hold a current licence to practice as a Level 1 registered nurse in Western Australia and have at least one year postgraduate experience, or as acceptable by the course coordinator and affiliate health service.
